Trainer Camp

Have you ever wanted to shadow a dolphin trainer and see how their days are really spent? Trainer Camp is just what you have been looking for!  

Spend THREE DAYS with our professional Animal Care and Training staff, working alongside them in every aspect of their day from scrubbing buckets and sorting fish to training dolphins.  By the end of each day you’ll be wet, you’ll be fishy, and you’ll be fulfilled in a way that few other careers can offer.

A typical day of camp will include attending an animal training lecture, assisting with dolphin interactive programs, diet preparation and bucket scrubbing, and of course, time with the animals.  By the end of your in-depth three-day experience, you will have participated in three of our world-renowned dolphin interactive programs: Dolphin Designs, Discover Dolphins, and The Immersion.  You’ll experience these programs in a way no other guests are able: with the perspective of someone who knows the work and care that goes into the preparation and development of each one. Included in your camp registration will be lunch daily, a uniform tank top, and a photo CD documenting your time with us.

Trainer Camp is designed for guests 13 years of age and up. The cost for this extensive 3 day experience is $1500.  The Camper to Trainer ratio is one-on-one.  We would consider a team of two campers, but this must be pre-arranged with our reservation team.

All participants will be photographed during their interaction by our professional staff photographers.            Guests may not bring personal cameras into dolphin program areas.
