80th Anniversary

Celebrating 80 Years of Adventure

Join the celebration as Marineland commemorates its 80th year of excitement, education, conservation, and family fun!

Marineland opened in 1938 as the world’s first oceanarium and a popular destination for Hollywood filmmakers to capture underwater footage. The park then grew in the 1950s and 1960s to become one of the state’s leading tourist attractions. Today, Marineland continues its founding vision as a place to educate visitors about marine life through one-of-a-kind interactive experiences. We also returned to the silver screen this year with a three-day movie shoot for the upcoming family film Bernie the Dolphin.
