Marineland Dolphin Adventure provides several volunteer programs, each with their own additional benefits and opportunities. In our unique volunteer program, you’ll be able to educate the public about our incredible oceans and animals that call it home, and contribute to the conservation of our local environment. All departments work together to support each other as needed in order to ensure the best experience for our guests.
We are always in need of volunteer assistance in the following positions:
Public Education: greeting guests, engaging guests in learning, providing accurate information about Marineland’s dolphins and the wildlife visible along our coastline, and assisting in interpreting and promoting our dolphin interactive programs.
Welcome Host: greeting guests, directing those scheduled for a dolphin program to their area, promoting dolphin programs and supporting other departments as needed.
Field Trip Assistant: escorting field trips around Marineland, giving presentations on dolphin/conservation/Marineland related topics, and supporting other departments as needed.
Behind the Seas Tour Guide: educating guests about Marineland, our history, the current dolphin population, and animals in our Behind the Seas habitats; also responsible for the safety and security of tour guests and animals.
Special Events Assistant: supporting onsite events (weddings, corporate events, evening parties) by assisting with crowd control, education and tour guiding; supporting off-site events (festivals, fairs, school visits) by handing out brochures and educating the public about Marineland.
NOTE: If you are interested in gaining experience by working with our Animal Training staff, you may apply for an internship at Marineland Dolphin Adventure. Requirements and other information regarding internships are located on our Marineland Internship page.
