Marineland Field Trips

Marineland Dolphin Adventure offers a variety of discounted field trip options for groups of at least 15 people, providing students the opportunity to learn about marine life, marine habitats, and conservation. Our professional educators are dedicated to inspiration through immersive education covering topics including natural history, behavior, adaptations, conservation, and research.

All our programs are aligned with the Florida State Science Standards.

What Makes Each Program Special?

SELF-GUIDED FIELD TRIP

After being greeted by one of Marineland’s professional educators and provided with an orientation including the schedule of events for the day, your group will have access to all of Marineland’s public areas, shows, demonstrations, and presentations. Your group will also enjoy a private tour of our Sea to Shore Aquarium.

  • $12/attendee (students and chaperones)
  • Minimum number of attendees (not including teachers): 15
  • Maximum number of attendees (not including teachers): 60
  • 1 teacher per 10 students receives free admission
  • This program does not include a dolphin interaction
  • A group photo can be added to your program for $15

EXPERIENTIAL FIELD TRIP

After being greeted by one of Marineland’s professional educators and provided with an orientation including the schedule of events for the day, your group will have access to all of Marineland’s public areas, shows, demonstrations, and presentations. Your group will also enjoy a private tour of our Sea to Shore Aquarium and two 15-minute guided educational activities which can be chosen from a variety of options on topics such as anatomy & adaptations, ecosystems, and conservation.

  • $14/attendee (students and chaperones)
  • Minimum number of attendees (not including teachers): 15
  • Maximum number of attendees (not including teachers): 60
  • 1 teacher per 10 students receives free admission
  • This program does not include a dolphin interaction
  • An additional 30 – 45 minute interactive lesson can be added to this field trip for $5/student
  • A group photo can be added to your program for $15

GUIDED FIELD TRIP

After being greeted by one of Marineland’s professional educators and provided with an orientation including the schedule of events for the day, your group will have access to all of Marineland’s public areas, shows, demonstrations, and presentations. Your group will also enjoy a private tour of our Sea to Shore Aquarium and one 30-45 minute interactive lesson which can be chosen from a variety of options on topics such as invasive species, ecosystems, conservation, field research, and anatomy & adaptations.

  • $16/attendee (students and chaperones)
  • Minimum number of attendees (not including teachers): 15
  • 1 teacher per 10 students receives free admission
  • This program does not include a dolphin interaction
  • An additional 30 – 45 minute interactive lesson can be added to this field trip for $5/student
  • A group photo can be added to your program for $15

DOLPHIN INTERACTION FIELD TRIP

After being greeted by one of Marineland’s professional educators and provided with an orientation including the schedule of events for the day, your group will have access to all of Marineland’s public areas, shows, demonstrations, and presentations. Your group will also enjoy a private tour of our Sea to Shore Aquarium and a bottlenose dolphin Touch & Play* program, including photographs.

  • $27/attendee (students and chaperones)
  • Minimum number of attendees (not including teachers): 15
  • Maximum number of attendees (not including teachers): 80
  • 1 teacher per 10 students receives free admission
  • The Touch & Play program is an out-of-water experience. This can be upgraded to a more immersive experience for an additional charge.
  • This program does not include additional educational lessons or activities, however this can be added for $5/student.
  • A group photo can be added to your program for $15

Can I Customize My Field Trip?

If you’d like to take the best of the best of each program option to make your perfect field trip, just ask! We are flexible and absolutely committed to providing the most enjoyable and educational field trip for your students.

How Do I Book My Field Trip?

Please reach out to our Education Coordinator at educoord@marineland.net to book your program.

When booking your field trip, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit will be used toward the total payment. The balance of the fee is required no less than 1 week prior to the field trip. Payments can be made via credit card or check.

Are These Field Trips Educational?

Yes!

All of Marineland’s field trips are aligned with Florida State Science Standards and are meant to inform, inspire, and excite!

Can We Eat Lunch At Marineland?

Yes!

Your students are welcome to bring their own lunch or to purchase lunch from our food truck.

If your students bring their own lunches, we are happy to store them in an air conditioned (but not refrigerated) space for you until lunchtime. Please note that individual lunch bags must be placed together in coolers or boxes before we take them from you. Straws are prohibited at Marineland.

If your students would like to purchase lunch here, they can choose from a hot dog meal or a peanut butter & jelly sandwich meal for $7. Your lunch order must be placed 2 weeks prior to your visit.

What Is The Cancellation Policy?

Field trips take place rain or shine.

With at least 24 hours advanced notice, a field trip can be rescheduled ONE TIME without penalty. Multiple rescheduling attempts are not permitted.

A $100 deposit is required upon booking. The balance is required at least 1 week prior to the field trip date. You will not be refunded for any payments made by the time of your cancellation.

Where Do We Park?

Parking is FREE at Marineland. Teachers or chaperones driving individually may park in our lot. School buses are encouraged to park in the neighboring beach parking lot.

What Does Marineland Expect From Us?

Marineland Dolphin Adventure is a facility designed to promote humane education. We do this by encouraging compassion and respect for all animals and the environment. We expect the behavior of all our guests, including students, teachers, and chaperones to be aligned with these goals.
